Lunch & Learn: Geometry and Patterns in Art
May 22, 2018, 12:00 PM-1:00 PM
Join us in Cook Auditorium for a Lunch and Learn discussion about Islamic geometric patterns and the mathematics behind them, led by Ohio University Mathematics Teaching Assistant Rebin Muhammad.
After learning about the history behind Islamic geometric patterns and why they are important, emerge yourself into creating your own pattern with a hands-on art activity led by Mr. Muhammad. The program and activity is geared towards adults, but children are welcome to attend.
RSVP for this event is encouraged, but not required. This event is BYOB (bring your own lunch) and free to the public and GRAM members.
