Creativity Uncorked: All Mixed Up – Exploring Collage & Photographic Transfer
November 2, 2018, 6:45 PM-9:00 PM
Explore the possibilities of photography and collage in creating a mixed media masterpiece. Take a tour of Who Shot Sports: A Photographic History, 1843 to Present, then learn how to transfer photographs using different low-tech transfer methods. You will play with various ways of combining and transforming photographs into an artwork of personal self-expression.
Draw inspiration from the studio’s collection of various books, found magazines and printed images. For a personal touch, bring in your own photograph to work with. All photos must be printed from a laser printer on regular photocopy paper.
No experience is necessary–just an open mind and a willingness to try something new. In GRAM Studio, we focus on the process, not the product, and encourage guests to explore their creativity. All supplies are provided. For more information, please contact Crystal Chesnik at 616.831.2927 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
