Margaret Vega is an artist and professor at Kendall College of Art and Design, in Grand Rapids. Her work, Head of A Boy, from the series Voices of the Children is featured in GRAM’s exhibition A Decade at the Center: Recent Gifts and Acquisitions. Vega’s series is inspired by her passion for human rights and the particular vulnerability of children across the globe. She will discuss her own work in context with the work of other artists on view in the exhibition.
