GRAM’s Story Time Program is a fun, educational evening for families held on the third Thursday of the month, and each event includes a read-aloud story, a tour of the exhibition, and an art-making activity in the GRAM Studio.

On December 19, let your imagination will run wild as we explore animals in art! The Grand Rapids Public Library staff will read two David Wiesner books, Tuesday and Mr. Wuffles!, about the fantastic creatures of our dreams, and lead songs and dances for everyone to enjoy. Next, a GRAM Docent will guide families through the exhibition David Wiesner & The Art of Wordless Storytelling to see the famous children’s author and illustrator’s work in person to dive into the world of the curious cat, Mr. Wuffles and the flying toads in Tuesday. Finally, families can create artwork of their own in the GRAM Studio!

No registration required, free for all guests. Program participants meet on the second floor of the Grand Rapids Art Museum. Story Time programs are held on Meijer Free Thursday Nights and admission and programming are available to guests at no cost thanks to the generous support of Meijer.

Location: Grand Rapids Art Museum, 101 Monroe Center NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503
