Joining us for December’s Visionnaire Series is Herman Miller Corporate Archivist Amy Auscherman. As Corporate Archivist for Herman Miller’s extensive multimedia design archive, Amy has been facilitating use of the collection, conducting research, curating exhibitions, and contributing to various initiatives around the company since joining Herman Miller in 2014. Amy co-edited the monograph Herman Miller: A Way of Living published by Phaidon Press in 2019.

The objects we choose to live with have the unique ability to hold memories and allow for new ones. Amy will discuss the storytelling role furniture plays in our day to day lives, and how the leading design company relies on its past to know where it’s going. Learn how Herman Miller crafts the human experience wherever people work, heal, learn and live.
