Communications Intern will gain experience working in a museum setting and begin to learn the
skills necessary to be effective in the Communications workforce. This will be done by
documenting museum events for possible use in Museum materials, as well as capturing,
managing, and organizing assets that support visitor engagement in a renowned cultural
The role of the Advancement Intern is to support the efforts of the Advancement Department including Museum membership efforts, the annual fund campaign, grant research and data compilation, sponsorship materials, and donor events. Advancement responsibilities also include database entry, receiving calls from prospective donor organizations, filing and special projects. As a member of the staff team, the Advancement Intern implements strategies that carry out the museum’s overall mission.
