The Art Museum is the recipient of an extraordinary Centennial Challenge Gift of $1 million from the Drake Quinn Family Foundation. This magnificent gift will be used over the course of two years to support the 2009 and 2010 Annual Fund campaigns, $500,000 each year.

Contributions to the Art Museum may be made to the Grand Rapids Art Museum Foundation. The principal of these gifts is saved and invested forever!
Since its inception in 1998 the Art Museum foundation has grown from $2 million to over $15 million. Endowment resources provide long-term stability needed to collect, conserve, educate and interpret authentic works of art.
Donations are gratefully accepted at any level. Each contribution, from a modest single gift to a more significant estate gift is important and helps to further the mission of the Art Museum.

Contributions to the Art Museum can include gifts of stocks or bonds. Gifts of appreciated securities that have been held for more than one year, provide the donor with an additional benefit - a charitable deduction for the full fair market value and no capital gains tax on the appreciated value.
