Internships
Internships are generally available within the following departments: curatorial, development, education, membership/special events, and public relations. Descriptions of open internships are available for download below. Selected interns will gain first hand experience working in their field of interest or study. Interns work under the supervision of department heads and assist in the daily activities of the department, which can range from special projects and research to clerical support. Internships vary depending on department need. Most internships are unpaid; however, students may receive academic credit. Students are responsible for making arrangements with their schools to receive credit for internships. Any paid internship opportunities will be stated as such. Internships are generally available on the following schedule.
How to Apply:
To apply for an internship, please submit a cover letter, resume, and one letter of reference from a professor or previous employer. Be aware of the application deadlines listed in the internship description. Explain in your cover letter how a GRAM internship fits with your background and career goals. Include in what department you would like to intern. Also describe what you hope to gain from you internship and what you believe you can contribute.
