Planning Your Visit
Save money by parking in the Monroe Center Parking Ramp (entrance on Ionia Ave.). One hour of free parking is available daily before 6:00 pm.
Children 5 and under receive free admission; youth admission for visitors ages 6 – 17 is only $5!
As a family friendly facility, children of all ages are welcome! Elevators and ramps are easy for families with strollers and baby changing stations are available in many restrooms.
Remind your family about the following guidelines, which apply to all art museum visitors:
Do not touch works of art in the galleries. Even clean hands leave dirt and oils behind that are harmful to works of art.
- No running in the Art Museum
- Stay together throughout your visit and enjoy learning from each other.
- Food and drinks are not permitted in the galleries
Stop for a bite to eat at our cafe and enjoy a lovely view of downtown. While children order from the kid’s menu, parents can choose from seasonal delights. High top chairs and booster seats are availalbe upon request.
