March’s theme is Endangered Species

Pictures and prints from Andy Warhol to Lewis Luman Cross depict wondrous animals from tigers to elephants. Explore how artists use their work to promote conservation and sustainability of nature in the world’s first gold LEED certified art museum. Create a work of art inspired by rare and important animals, insects, and reptiles!

Studio Activities: This month brings two fun and exciting projects to choose from. Celebrate GRAM's commitment to the environment by creating a bird feeder in the style of works from the permanent collection. Younger learners will create meaningful connections with endangered species while working with textures for our Warhol inspired elephant activity.

Gallery Activities: Explore the galleries with our new Endangered Species Family Activity Guide or join a kid-friendly tour (11am & 1pm). Find our features of the month for gallery sketching and learn about highlights in the collection.

Coming up in April

April’s theme is Friendship and Community. Join us at the GRAM for a centennial year celebration of friendship and community. Discover the rich history of artist collaboration by examining works from the permanent collection and create a collage by working together and sharing your own unique perspective.
