Improv Chop Shop

Thursday, June 13
7:00 – 9:30 pm

Doors open at 6:15. Arrive early and enjoy a drink or two at the cash bar before the event starts.

Dive
into the world of inspiration & color exploding out of The Improvisational Quilts of Susana Allen Hunter. 

Uncover
how themes of design, inventiveness, form vs. function, and originality are woven into each quilt in the exhibition.

Gather
fabrics, fibers, dyes and more in funky ways to create a unique and functional item. Inspired by the popular Food Network show Chopped, each guest will receive a goody bag of “ingredients” to manipulate and transform on the spot.

Assemble
an iPad sleeve, apron, or tote bag that expresses your personal style and sense of improvisation.
