Sooper Art Competition 2013

Sooper Art returns to GRAM during Masterpieces of American Landscape Painting!

Celebrating it’s fourth year, this annual contest is inspired by Sooper Yooper: Environmental Defender, a children’s book about the ongoing struggles to protect the Great Lakes by the late artist Mark Heckman and writer Mark Newman.

Students, ages 5 – 17, are invited to create and submit a work of art that relates to the natural world or environmental issues. Sponsored by the Wege Foundation, over $5,000 in prizes will be awarded to the winners.
