On the second Saturday of each month, join a docent-guided sketching tour of GRAM’s exhibitions. Sketching is a wonderful way to look more deeply at the works of art on view as well as express your own creativity. These tours are open to individuals of all ages and levels of experience, and supplies are provided. Tours meet in the Museum Lobby.

Grand Rapids has been known as the Furniture City for over a century. Tour Design Highlights from the Permanent Collection and discover both historic and modern chairs, desks, and design objects in the galleries. Each design is unique, ranging from traditional, to Prairie style, to whimsical. The docent-guided tour will discuss both the design choices and craftsmanship involved with each piece of furniture.
