Joining us for April’s Visionnaire Series is printmaker and fine artist, Madison May. May’s work has been exhibited locally and nationally. In 2017 May opened Bend Gallery, a not-for-profit contemporary art gallery, located on the corner of Weston Street and Division Avenue in the heart of Avenue for the Arts. Bend gallery serves as a multi-use gallery, art studio, artist collective, and living space. Learn about what prompted Megan to open Bend Gallery, the changes it has taken since its inception, and the future of the space.

Arrive early and enjoy coffee by Stovetop Coffee Roasters and mingling with fellow art lovers.

This event is organized by the Visionnaire Executive Committee. The Visionnaire Executive Committee is a group of creative young adults, ages 21-40, committed to introducing new audiences to the Grand Rapids Art Museum and encouraging lifelong engagement. Through a variety of events and programs, the Executive Committee furthers GRAM’s mission to connect people through art, creativity, and design, and promote the Museum’s world-class collection and special exhibitions.
