Drop-In Sketching Tour: Portraits
July 11, 2020, 1:00 PM-2:00 PM
On the second Saturday of each month, join a docent-guided sketching tour of GRAM’s exhibitions. Sketching is a wonderful way to look more deeply at the works of art on view as well as express your own creativity. These tours are open to individuals of all ages and levels of experience, and supplies are provided. Tours meet in the Museum Lobby.
Portraits are glimpses into a person’s life, and with the help of a docent guide your group will explore clues left behind to learn personal tales from near and far. Featured art includes painting, drawings, and sculptures both historic and modern. What hidden facets of this person’s life will you discover?
Participants will be given sketching pads and pencils to sketch their favorite artwork. No drawing experience is required.
