COVID-19 Update (March 13, 2020):
The Grand Rapids Art Museum will temporarily close until further notice, starting today at 3 pm. Our top priority is to ensure the health and safety of the Museum’s family, including staff, volunteers, and guests and the broader community. As part of these efforts, GRAM will provide provisions for supporting all museum salaried and hourly employees.
Following the recent statement issued by Governor Gretchen Whitmer regarding social distancing and the closing of Michigan schools, in addition to closing the Museum and its offices, all scheduled public programming and private events will also be canceled through May 4, including Gala 2020: Black Tie Block Party.
We are mindful of the evolving situation surrounding the novel coronavirus and are committed to closely monitoring and responding appropriately to the preventative measures from the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS).
Any updates will be announced on our website and through regular communication channels. We appreciate your cooperation as we work to do our part in supporting a safe and healthy community. We are deeply grateful for your support.
