COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 Update:

The Grand Rapids Art Museum is temporarily closed until further notice. Our top priority is to ensure the health and safety of the Museum’s family, including staff, volunteers, and guests and the broader community.

Following the guidelines issued by Governor Whitmer and GRAM’s commitment to safety, all scheduled public programming and private events will be canceled through July 31, in addition to our Summer Art Camp and annual concert series GRAM on the Green.

Our team is working diligently to ensure the Museum remains a safe and clean environment for visitors upon reopening. We will extend the exhibition A New State of Matter: Contemporary Glass through October 4, previously scheduled to close on April 26. As a result of this extension, our summer exhibition In a New Light: American Impressionism 1870-1940 has been tentatively rescheduled to summer 2022.

We are mindful of the evolving nature of COVID-19 and are committed to closely monitoring and responding appropriately to the preventative measures from the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS).

Any updates will be announced on our website and through regular communication channels. We appreciate your cooperation as we work to do our part in supporting a safe and healthy community. We are deeply grateful for your support.
