Private Reception: Dawoud Bey & Carrie Mae Weems: In Dialogue

India & Bill Manns, Eddie Tadlock, and Stephen & Taylor Smith invite you to be their guest for a private event at the Grand Rapids Art Museum exploring the powerful exhibition Dawoud Bey & Carrie Mae Weems: In Dialogue.

Complimentary hors d’oeuvres, a hosted bar, and smooth sounds will set the tone for the party, followed by a short program at 7 pm. During the evening, guests are encouraged to explore the moving photographs of Dawoud Bey and Carrie Mae Weems and a stunning exhibition of quilts by Detroit-based textile artist Carole Harris.
