Open Positions

    Our Learning and Creativity Team creates and implements educational workshops, conducts tours and brings art to life in a variety of creative ways. If you are looking for a position that can connect you with your passion for art in a very part time, flexible setting, we would like to meet you!

    The Communications Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the implementation of all marketing plans and initiatives as well as providing administrative assistance to the Communications and Advancement Teams. 

    Our seasonal Preparators work with the Curatorial staff to build and install amazing gallery spaces to exhibit artwork for the enjoyment of the community. If you have a flexible schedule and are open to various tasks such as painting walls and carefully unpacking artwork, we are looking to build our team of seasonal Preparators. 

    Our Gallery Attendants work to ensure our guests have the best possible experience when visiting the museum galleries by providing a friendly and safe atmosphere while encouraging communication and learning.

    The Grand Rapids Art Museum has a terrific opportunity for a highly motivated individual looking for a full-time position as a Facilities Associate. GRAM is extremely proud of our exceptional building and we are interested in hiring an individual who is self-sufficient and open to the daily challenges involved in keeping our beautiful museum functioning and engaging for our guests. Our Facilities Associates perform a wide variety of custodial and maintenance duties so independence, flexibility, and troubleshooting are key skills to have along with a desire to be part of a great team. In return we offer a full benefit package including health insurance, generous PTO, parking and 401(k) to name a few.
