Explore the art of flat reed weaving in GRAM Studio. Get inspired by the woven forms in An Interwoven Legacy: The Black Ash Basketry of Kelly Church and Cherish Parrish and learn how to weave a basket for yourself. Participants will learn how to weave with multicolored flat reed and add beautiful, woven embellishments to create a one-of-a-kind basket.
Please note: programming at GRAM is running with enhanced safety measures, including face covering requirements regardless of vaccination status, regular sanitization and cleaning, and restricting the sharing of tools/materials among participants. Masks will be available for those who do not have one.
