Drop in to a gallery and chat with a GRAM docent about the works of art on view. Docents will be stationed by a specific work, and guests can stop by to chat about the art and artist. This is a great opportunity for art lovers of all ages to explore the many works on view at GRAM. Registration is not required. Signage will be in the Lobby with the location of the docent.
Grand Rapids has historically homed many renowned artists. In this Gallery Chat, explore the work of painter Mathias J. Alten, and learn about Alten’s numerous paintings in GRAM’s permanent collection.
We’re excited for guests to safely participate in select programming at the Museum. Expect new procedures, including: reduced program capacity to ensure distancing, face covering requirements, regular sanitization and cleaning, and restricting the sharing of tools/materials among participants.
