SOLD OUT- Saturday Studio Session: Granny Squares

Saturday, Oct 8, 2022
10:30 am — 12:30 pm

Join us at Saturday Studio Sessions for unique and creative artmaking workshops influenced by a range of art practices. During the session, you’ll be guided through concept and material exploration. Through hands-on projects and gallery tours, participants will develop a deeper understanding of art and personal expression.

Explore the basics of crochet as you create a granny square! Perfect for anyone curious about learning crochet but aren’t sure where to start. Come for the basics, leave with inspiration, yarn, and a crochet hook to jump-start your new hobby. In this workshop, you learn how to read a basic pattern to make squares that you can then combine into a scarf, blanket, or garment of your choosing. This workshop includes general Museum admission.

Please note: Program safety measures include face covering recommendations, regular sanitization and cleaning, and restricting the sharing of tools/materials among participants. Masks will be available for those who do not have one.
