Enjoy a tasting with us from the comfort of your home! This Virtual Happy Hour is a guided event that includes 2 pairings of wine, cheese & art!
The Grand Rapids Art Museum and Aperitivo are excited to offer GRAM Members an experience where we bring artwork, wine, and cheese into your home! Join us for part 2 of this winter series of tastings as we explore how art, wine, and cheese are handled while “On the Road.” Enjoy wine and cheese pairings selected by the Aperitivo staff as you hear from art and culinary experts throughout the event. This month, we will be discussing the process and immense care and that goes into properly storing and transporting art, wine & cheese so that they maintain their color, quality, texture and so much more.
The evening will be guided by Julie Walser, Registrar at GRAM, Amy Ruis, Owner of Art of the Table & Aperitivo, and Evan Talen, General Manager of Aperitivo. Learn about how wine, cheese, and the culinary experience share parallels with the art world. You will also learn about the history and background of some artwork as well as in-depth information about the products we are tasting, and why these pieces and products are so special to us. We can’t wait to spend the evening with you!

The $80 ticket + tax covers a tasting package which includes 2 bottles of red wine and a 2 cheese plate (+ crackers, bread and some fun sides!), free pick-up from Aperitivo, and entrance to the Zoom event. For an additional $5, delivery can be arranged.
GRAM Members can purchase tickets here. Please note: you will need your GRAM Membership Number (which can be found on your Member Card) to complete your ticket purchase. Please purchase tickets in advance before the deadline on Tuesday, February 22 at 7pm. Unfortunately we cannot accept “walk-ins” (or call-ins) the day of the event.
