Explore the intersection of sound and visual art in this interactive workshop designed for all experience levels. Led by artist, Catherine Brown and sound therapist, Geoffrey Lamden, this workshop invites guests to let go of expectations and create freely in a playful environment.

During this 90-minute session, guests will be guided through a live musical experience featuring instruments from around the world — such as singing bowls, percussion, didgeridoo, and guitar. As you listen, you’ll respond intuitively with pencil, color, and shape, allowing sound to lead your creative expression. Guests will leave with a series of spontaneous, one-of-a-kind drawings that reflect your personal experience of sound in the moment.

No art or music background needed.

About Your Instructors

This workshop is led by Geoffrey Lamden and Catherine Brown. Geoffrey is a sound therapist with over 30 years of working as a professional musician. Catherine has a degree in Visual Arts and worked many years in the contemporary art world, both as a curator in museums, and as an artists who sold her work in galleries. Her true passion is offering energy work to support clients on a path of healing.

Catherine and Geoffrey offer a playful approach to art – providing a creative environment where the mind gets encouraged to step aside and rest for a bit as the heart and intuition take the lead.
