Painting outside allowed artists to emulate the look of natural light, one of the defining characteristics of the American Impressionist movement. Venture outside GRAM Studio to capture the cityscape of Grand Rapids while discovering the best techniques to effectively and efficiently paint using oil pastels.
Please note: Program safety measures include face covering recommendations, regular sanitization and cleaning, and restricting the sharing of tools/materials among participants. Masks will be available for those who do not have one.
