On July 1, join GRAM Studio for an introduction to the colorful craft of embroidery! Inspired by the rich multimedia works in American Perspectives: Stories from the American Folk Art Museum Collection, participants will combine painting and hand-sewn embroidery to add visual interest to canvas. An assortment of images will be provided for inspiration. However, participants are encouraged to bring in a personal image to use as inspiration for their artworks.
Please note: programming at GRAM is running with enhanced safety measures, including reduced program capacity to ensure distancing, face covering requirements, regular sanitization and cleaning, and restricting the sharing of tools/materials among participants.
