The acclaimed New Music Ensemble at Grand Valley State University celebrates twenty years of bringing contemporary music to West Michigan and beyond. The ensemble marks this milestone with the world première of its 100^th commissioned composition, by frequent collaborator Marc Mellits. With performances across the United States, five critically acclaimed albums, and more than 200 alumni, the ensemble’s impact extends from the classroom to far beyond the university walls.
