Impressionists in Europe and America sought to capture moments in time through their artwork, sparking a renewed interest in monotypes. While other prints can make the same image repeatedly, a monotype can only be made once. Inspired by the images on view in In a New Light: American Impressionism 1870 – 1940, create one-of-a-kind prints in GRAM Studio using paint, plates, and pastels.
Please note: Program safety measures include face covering recommendations, regular sanitization and cleaning, and restricting the sharing of tools/materials among participants. Masks will be available for those who do not have one.
