Families of all ages are invited to share their stories at GRAM! To celebrate the exhibitions, Dawoud Bey & Carrie Mae Weems: In Dialogue and Carole Harris: Bright Moments, GRAM will host a variety of activities throughout the Museum.
12 – 4 pm:
- Scavenger hunt with prizes
- Gallery Chats in the exhibitions with GRAM Docents
- Art making project in the Studio — Storied Samplers and Quilts
- Photo Portrait activity
- Storytime in the galleries
- Interactive Musical Performance with Play It Out! Join Josh Dunigan of Joyful Sounds Music Studio for a fun, high energy hands-on drumming experience. Express emotions and build a story using imagination and creativity through drums, song, and other percussive play and expressive arts. All ages and abilities welcome.
All activities are included with museum admission.
Please note: Program safety measures include face covering recommendations, regular sanitization and cleaning, and restricting the sharing of tools/materials among participants. Masks will be available for those who do not have one.
