Join GRAM for an educator professional development day as we explore Lee Alexander McQueen & Ann Ray: Rendez-Vous and experiment with artmaking activities to take back to your classroom.
During this session, educators will engage in a series of figure drawing lessons (featuring clothed models) led by artist Brett Colley, and explore the connections between figure drawing and fashion design.
State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECH) are included with this session.

Guest Artist: Brett Colley
Brett Colley earned his MFA in Printmaking from the University of Iowa in 1994. Now Professor of Studio Art at Grand Valley State University, Colley teaches a variety of courses and serves as coordinator of the Printmaking area. His creative/scholarly work assumes a critical perspective on a wide array of oppressive systems, while also highlighting the resistance borne of such conditions. His projects as both an artist and curator have been exhibited in over 30 states and 6 countries.
