House of Words Open Mic with RJ Walker

Join us at the Grand Rapids Art Museum for a special edition of House of Words, an afternoon dedicated to storytelling, creativity, and community inside the museum.

This House Special event features a dynamic performance by nationally recognized playwright, poet, and interactive storyteller RJ Walker. 

Known for blending poetry, theater, and immersive experiences, RJ’s work invites audiences to engage with storytelling in unexpected and thought-provoking ways.

In addition to the featured performance, guests are invited to take part in House of Words’ signature open mic experience.
