Light the Night

5:00 pm — 9:00 pm

Make the most of one of the longest days of the year with gallery activities exploring light and shadow. Also included, explore the Museum’s newest exhibition, American Perspectives: Stories from the American Folk Art Museum.

5 — 9 pm: Free museum admission
5 – 9 pm: Light-up art activities including Vellum Luminaries and Colorful Neon Illuminated Scenes, and scavenger hunt
6:30 – 7:30 pm: Gallery Chats with GRAM docents
9 — 10 pm: Flashlight tours (Ages 10 and over, $15 public, $10 members)

Tours and activities start in the Museum lobby.

We’re excited for guests to safely participate in select programming at the Museum. Expect new procedures including: reduced program capacity to ensure distancing, face covering requirements, regular sanitization and cleaning, and restricting the sharing of tools/​materials among participants.
