Lakeshore Museum Center information
The Museum Center will be open Mondays through Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. The featured 2021 Summer exhibit Turtle Travels. This site is self-guided with docents available in the STEM Center.
The Hackley & Hume Historic Site will be open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Mondays from 10am to 4pm, and Sundays from 1pm to 4pm. Guided tours start at the City Barn at 10am, and run every half hour on the hour, with the last tour going out at 4pm. Tour sizes are up to 6 guests, from the same family group / cohort. Tours last approximately 1 hour and are sold first come, first served; admission to the tours also include self-guided visits to the Fire Barn Museum and the Scolnik House of the Depression Era, which are located just around the corner from the Hackley & Hume Houses.
The Muskegon Heritage Museum will be open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays from 11am to 4pm. This site is self-guided with docents available throughout the museum.
