Sold Out

Join us at Saturday Studio Sessions for unique and creative artmaking workshops influenced by a range of art practices. During the session, you’ll be guided through concept and material exploration. Through hands-on projects and gallery tours, participants will develop a deeper understanding of art and personal expression.

Inspired by the stories and legacies on view in Presence: The Photography Collection of Judy Glickman Lauder, create your own space for reflection and record keeping with GRAM Studio. Learn how to bind a journal or sketchbook of your own design using the Coptic method, a technique which allows your book to lay completely flat when open. Developed in Egypt during the 2nd century AD, this binding method leaves the paper sections of your book exposed along the spine, highlighting the elegant stitching that brings the pages together. When finished, you will have a book to fill with the photographs, notes, and images that tell your story.

Please note: Program safety measures include face covering recommendations, regular sanitization and cleaning, and restricting the sharing of tools/materials among participants. Masks will be available for those who do not have one.
