Saturday Studio Session: En Plein Air: Part 1

Saturday, Aug 28, 2021
10:30 am — 1:00 pm

Join us once a month for unique and creative artmaking sessions influenced by a range of art practices. During the session, you’ll be guided through concept and material exploration. Through hands-on projects and gallery tours, participants will develop a deeper understanding of art and personal expression.

On August 28 & September 4 from 10:30am‑1:00pm, join GRAM Studio outdoors for this special two-part en plein air workshop. On August 28, day one will feature perspective drawing while capturing the landscape of downtown Grand Rapids. On September 4, participants will study like the impressionists while painting their drawn urban landscape through oil pastel on canvas. Upon registering, participant are automatically registered for both part 1 and 2, August 28 & September 4.

Please note: programming at GRAM is running with enhanced safety measures, including face covering requirements regardless of vaccination status while indoors, regular sanitization and cleaning, and restricting the sharing of tools/materials among participants. Masks will be available for those who do not have one.
