Saturday, Oct 9, 2021
10:30 am — 12:30 pm

Sold Out

Join us once a month for unique and creative artmaking sessions influenced by a range of art practices. During the session, you’ll be guided through concept and material exploration. Through hands-on projects and gallery tours, participants will develop a deeper understanding of art and personal expression.

Try your hand at weaving with fiber. From the seasoned weaver to absolute beginner, this workshop is for everyone. Get inspired by the woven works found in An Interwoven Legacy: The Black Ash Basketry Kelly Church and Cherish Parrish. Working on individual looms, participants will learn the basics of hand weaving using a variety of colorful fibers and unexpected, reclaimed materials to create unique patterns and texture.

Please note: programming at GRAM is running with enhanced safety measures, including face covering requirements regardless of vaccination status, regular sanitization and cleaning, and restricting the sharing of tools/materials among participants. Masks will be available for those who do not have one.
