Join us for an introduction to sound as meditation. In this session we will explore different techniques to open our awareness to what’s happening inside using sound, and discern how different tones trigger different sensations, images, and emotions.
Explore the effects of sound as a meditative practice through a sound bath, singing bowls, and our own voices, followed by a close look at artwork in GRAM’s permanent collection. We’ll also discuss the science behind why sound, music, and singing can enhance your wellbeing and even trigger experiences of awe across cultures.
Cushions and comfortable seating will be provided.
Registration by Monday, April 13. Space is limited.
