Ready to learn something new?
The Grand Rapids Art Museum and Aperitivo are excited to offer GRAM Members an experience where we bring artwork, wine, and cheese into your home! The series continues with an exploration of the color white, in wine, art, and cheese. Each wine and cheese pairing will be selected by the Aperitivo staff and paired with extraordinary artwork from GRAM’s permanent collection, tied together by this month’s theme.
The evening will be guided by Dana Friis-Hansen, Director & CEO of GRAM, Amy Ruis, Owner of Art of the Table & Aperitivo, and Steve Staggs, Cheesemonger at Aperitivo. Learn about how wine and cheesemaking, and the culinary experience, shares parallels to artmaking and how we experience visual art in the world. You will also hear about the history and background of some artwork as well as the products we are tasting, and why these particular pieces and products are so special to us. We can’t wait to spend the evening with you!
