For Gambino, Inter/connectedness is at the heart of my art practice. Engaging with animals, landscapes, trees, roots, fungi and ecosystems that I encounter and examine to better understand the interrelationships between species. My art practice also looks closely at environmental changes between natural resources and industry.”

During this artist talk Gambino will share both what motivates her overall art practice and what she is working on during residency here in Michigan.
