The Grand Rapids Art Museum (GRAM) and Hispanic Center of Western Michigan (HCWM) invite you to the Museum for a FREE day of community, play, and creativity for all ages!
In celebration of GRAM’s current exhibition Border Cantos | Sonic Border, enjoy an array of hands-on activities and three floors of exhibitions and interactives:
- Drop into the Creative Learning Center studio and experiment with hands-on artmaking
- Explore your creativity in the Discovery Gallery
- Connect with others during gallery chats
- Relax and recharge in GRAM’s auditorium lounge
Community Day is free, and registration is not required. When you arrive, head to the check-in desk in GRAM’s Lobby, and staff from GRAM and HCWM will greet you. Bilingual team members will be available.

En celebración de la exposición actual del GRAM Border Cantos | Sonic Border (Cantos fronterizos | Frontera sónica), disfrute de diversas actividades prácticas y tres pisos de exposiciones y ejercicios interactivos:
- Visite el estudio del Creative Learning Center (Centro de Aprendizaje Creativo) y experimente la creación artística práctica.
- Explore su creatividad en la Discovery Gallery (Galería de Descubrimiento).
- Conéctese con otras personas durante las charlas de la galería.
- Relájese y recargue energía en el vestíbulo del auditorio del GRAM.

Several public parking lots are located near the Museum. The closest lot is the Monroe Center Parking Ramp, located at 37 Ionia Ave NW, and the first hour of parking is free. Metered street parking is always free on weekends, and many meters are located near GRAM.
Bus transportation to GRAM is easy and convenient. View The Rapid’s routes.
Cerca del Museo hay varios estacionamientos públicos. El estacionamiento más cercano es Monroe Center Parking Ramp, ubicado en 37 Ionia Ave NW, y la primera hora de estacionamiento es gratuita.
