Discovery Day: My Story

Join GRAM for a day of discovery with special activities for guests of all ages. Inspired by Gary Tyler: Rebirth and Ray Materson: Metamorphosis, this Discovery Day celebrates everyone’s unique story and identity. Enjoy interactive activities and hands-on experiences throughout the museum.

Activities are available from 10 am — 3 pm and included with museum admission:

- Hands-on art-making projects — Community Story Quilt and Fabric Wall Decoration

- Gallery chats with docents

- Scavenger hunt story with prizes

- Imaginative play in GRAM’s Discovery Gallery

- STEAM activities led by Stemming Ideas – Bring your story to life one pixel at a time! Create a unique pixel-art avatar that shows who you are, then discover the magic behind digital images by transforming your design to binary code.

- LEGO building challenge led by Bricks and Minifigs — Create your own story sculpture!

- And much more

All activities are included with general admission. Register in advance and save time at check-in.
