Join us for an introduction to the art of meditation as we explore the benefits of creative awareness practice on our mental and physical well-being. In this session, we will explore a new way of looking deeply at art through a guided meditation as you engage the artwork on view in David Hockney: Perspective Should Be Reversed. The session will conclude with a discussion of our experiences, and practical ways to build on these practices in your own life.
The instructor for this session will be Jill Eggers. Jill is a retired art professor from Grand Valley State University, an artist with work exhibited in public and private collections, and an experienced meditation instructor.
This session will take place in GRAM’s second floor galleries. Cushions and comfortable seating will be provided.
Space is limited. Registration is required by September 5.
