The Art of Meditation: Sound Meditation

Wednesday, Nov 13, 2024
6:00 pm — 7:30 pm

Sold Out

Join us for an introduction to sound as meditation. In this session we will explore different techniques to open our awareness through sound, and discern how different tones trigger unique sensations, images, and emotions. Led by Susanne Werblow, guests will experience the effects of sound as a meditative practice through a sound bath, followed by a close look at artwork in GRAM’s permanent collection. Co-facilitator Geoff Lamden has been exploring the effects of sound for over 30 years. Whether it’s making people dance or become still, seeing plants react, or his last venture into how sound enhances fermentation, there is a brilliance in his vibrational curiosity.

Sessions will take place in GRAM’s Permanent Collection on Museum Level 3. Cushions and comfortable seating will be provided.

Space is limited. Register now.
