Unveiling a Legacy: A Celebration of Black Culture with The Divine Nine

Join GRAM and the Divine Nine for an evening at the Museum celebrating Black culture, art, and community. Enjoy small bites from Irie Kitchen, a cash bar, and sounds by PJ DA DJ alongside GRAM’s newest acquisition, Mario Moore’s Pillars of the Frontier, and two floors of art.
During the program, guests will celebrate the impact Divine Nine fraternity and sorority members are making in the community and hear from the North Star Legacy Group who supports the acquisition of art by Black Michigan artists, with remarks from Grand Rapids NPHC President/Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Dr. David Flowers. Sr.

About the Divine Nine:
The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) was founded on May 10, 1930 at Howard University in Washington, DC. The purpose of the NPHC shall be to foster cooperative actions of its members in dealing with matters of mutual concern. To this end, the NPHC promotes the well-being of its affiliate fraternities and sororities, facilitates the establishment and development of local councils of the NPHC and provides leadership training for its constituents.
The primary purpose and focus of NPHC member organizations remains community awareness and action through educational, economic, and cultural service activities.
