Grand Rapids Art Museum’s Free Summer Series Thursdays on the Terrace’ Returns June 11

Weekly outdoor experience with art, music, food trucks and a bar: June 11 — Aug. 27

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., June 4, 2026 — The Grand Rapids Art Museum (GRAM) invites the community to enjoy the second year of Thursdays on the Terrace, a free summer series featuring art, music, food and community in downtown Grand Rapids every Thursday evening from June 11-Aug. 27, 2026. Held from 5 – 9 p.m. on GRAM’s outdoor terrace, the series offers a chance for guests to gather, unwind and experience the museum in a lively summer setting.

Each Thursday features a dynamic mix of programming, including live music from local musicians and DJs, rotating food trucks, a cash bar with Michigan craft beer, wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic options, plus a unique activity, performance or pop-up experience. All guests can enjoy free access to the museum’s galleries during extended evening hours until 9 p.m.

Visitors can explore three floors of art throughout the summer, including GRAM’s newest exhibitions Decadent Spirit: French Art at the Turn of the CenturyJerry’s Map by Jerry GretzingerGathering Light: The Jack H. Miller Glass Collection, and The Spirit of Independence: Artists’ Reflections on Freedom
