GRAM is pleased to announce the seven outstanding women who will be honored at WomenConnect 2017.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI, June 21, 2017 – The Grand Rapids Art Museum (GRAM) is pleased to announce the seven outstanding women who will be honored at WomenConnect 2017. The women new to positions of leadership are being recognized for their recent achievements during the annual networking event. WomenConnect is an invitation-only event, and will be held at the Grand Rapids Art Museum on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 5:30 — 7:30 pm.

A partnership between Grand Rapids Art Museum (GRAM), Grand Rapids Opportunities for Women (GROW), and Varnum LLP, WomenConnect is designed to welcome and introduce new women executives to other women community and business leaders. What started out as an intimate welcoming gathering has evolved over the last five years into an annual event that supports professional retention efforts and provides opportunities for inclusion and access to the leadership table.

The event showcases West Michigan as a region that values diversity within the leadership of its businesses and organizations, while providing an opportunity for networking with other women in a relaxed, artful setting designed to spur conversation.

To request an invitation, please contact Sara Markman at smarkman@artmuseumgr.org or 616.831.2908.
