Drop-In Studio: Textured Landscapes & Marigolds

Join Drop-in Studio for open-ended artmaking. 

Textured Landscapes: Create your own textured landscape artwork inspired by The Matter of Awe: Landscapes in Art. Explore different stations featuring a variety of tools — like cotton balls, palette knives, forks, and more — to layer your artwork and bring your scene to life.

Tissue Paper Marigolds: Experience the vibrant tradition of Día de los Muertos as you create your own colorful tissue paper marigolds. Take one marigold home as a keepsake and leave another on GRAM’s community ofrenda in honor of a loved one.

Drop-in Studio sessions occur every Saturday from 11 am — 3 pm, and are included with general Museum admission. All materials are provided, and guests are encouraged to play and experiment.
