Open House for Educators: Creative Learning Center

Join GRAM Director and CEO Cindy Foley and the Learning and Creativity team to learn all about our resources for schools and educators and explore the new Creative Learning Center. 

Educators and their guests may enjoy hands-on interactives, artmaking activities, gallery chats with GRAM Docents, light snacks and refreshments, and complimentary supplies from our surplus studio inventory. Guests may also explore our latest exhibitions on view throughout the evening.

This event is free for educators and their guests. RSVP using this link so that we can plan our refreshments and supplies accordingly. All guests should arrive through the Museum’s main entrance to check in for the event.

The reimagined Creative Learning Center is a vibrant, highly active space designed for hands-on imaginative play and creative exploration for guests of all ages. The 4,500 square-foot Creative Learning Center offers a new way to experience GRAM, where guests can invent, experiment, and explore in a space that invites everyone in our community to make their mark at the Museum. The expansion brings several brand-new upgrades and enhancements to the arts education facilities at GRAM, including:

• A 1,036 square-foot interactive Discovery Gallery open during all museum hours
• Two new GRAM Studio workshop classrooms
• A relocated and reimagined entry space accessible from the Museum lobby
• An expanded orientation area and meeting space from school groups, tours, and group meetings
• Accessibility and navigation improvements
• A new volunteer lounge
