Virtual Educator Professional Development: American Perspectives

This virtual professional development session for K‑12 educators will introduce participants to American Perspectives: Stories from the American Folk Art Museum Collection at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, focusing on the primary themes and cross-curricular connections featured in the exhibition. Educators will learn how to use folk art objects as primary sources and receive additional resources about lessons and art-making activities for a variety of classrooms and subject areas.
